🎯 Placing a ranked proxy bid
A proxy bid lets you set the maximum amount you are willing to pay for a specific car. You do not bid incrementally — you tell us your ceiling, and the system bids on your behalf up to that ceiling.
- Ensure you are a Verified Bidder. A deposit is required before any bid will be accepted. Read Getting Started.
- Browse the day's available cars. Open Live Auctions to see today's stock.
- Select a car and click "Place Proxy Bid". A dialog box opens. Each bid is a separate dialog with its own agreement.
- Enter your maximum offer amount. Whole Euro only. This is your ceiling — you will never be charged more than this for the car.
- Rank the bid. Your first bid of the day is precedence 1 (highest priority). You may raise any bid's precedence before the lock.
- Accept the agreement. The dialog box shows the forfeiture rule and the service-charge disclosure. You must explicitly agree to proceed.
🔄 The daily bidding cycle
Bidding runs in a single daily cycle. Once per day, the admin locks the cycle and exports all bids for that round.

🏆 What happens when you win
- Only one car is won per round. If your highest-precedence bid wins, any other open bids in the same round are withdrawn.
- All bid slots are cleared the next day — win or lose — so you set a fresh batch of up to five ranked bids.
- Service charges are calculated after the win and disclosed to you before payment is due.
- Full payment is due within two weeks. The winning bid amount plus service charges, minus any admin-applied discount, is drawn from your running balance.
- Once fully paid, that slot's worth of balance (€550) is consumed.
⚠️ Forfeiture rule
If you win a bid and fail to pay the full amount within two weeks of the win, the purchase is cancelled and €550 is forfeited from your running balance as a cancellation charge — one slot's worth, not your entire balance.
This rule is shown in the dialog box of every individual bid. You must explicitly agree to it on each bid, not once per session.

- Win notification with service charge breakdown
